A source noted that:

The terrorists were first sighted around Mandara Garau Yesterday while converging in large number of trucks. They fled after they sighted the Airforce Jet. Again, they returned this Morning.

Sources added that they wanted to attack Ex-Militant transit camp in Sabon Gari, Damboa.
