The Central Bank of Nigeria has reinstated the sale of foreign exchange to Bureau De Change (BDC) operators, marking a significant development in the forex market. The apex bank is now selling to BDCs at an exchange rate of N1,021 per dollar.
In addition to resuming forex sales, the CBN has issued directives for BDCs to restrict their sales to a margin not exceeding 1.5 percent above the purchase price.
Further details on this development will be provided shortly. Stay tuned for updates.
