BREAKING: Oando tank farm guts fire in Lagos

Petroleum tank farm belonging to Oando located at Ijora is currently on fire.
The actual cause of the fire which started on Thursday morning was still not known, but rescuers are battling to evacuate those inside the premises when fire started.


Territorial Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye said all the staff have been evacuated.


He said firefighters from the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the Federal Fire Service and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) mobilised to the scene to fight the fire.
