BREAKING: Protesters storm EFCC Abuja office, demand reopening of Matawalle’s case

In a breaking development, demonstrators converged on the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja on Friday, urging the commission to revisit the investigation into the actions of former Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle.

Channels TV reports that Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC Director of Public Affairs, accepted the protest letter on behalf of Chairman Ola Olukoyede. Uwujaren assured the protesters that the commission remains committed to thoroughly investigating corruption cases until a satisfactory resolution is reached.
