BREAKING: Tinubu Signs Bill Reinstating Old National Anthem into Law

President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law on Wednesday, reinstating the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”

Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced the news during a joint plenary session attended by Tinubu.

The final assent to the bill marks a shift from the current anthem, “Arise, O Compatriots.”

The bill quickly passed through both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
