Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari is anticipating the result of the investigation by the defense headquarters into the slaughtering of three policemen and a non military personnel by soldiers in Taraba state before making a conclusive move on the issue.
Garba Shehu who made the exposure on Twitter on Monday, August 12, likewise rejected the hint that the president is indicating lack of interest on the issue.
The presidential aide said Buhari had requested the chief of defense staff to set up an examining board of trustees with delegates from all the security organisations in the nation, including the police force to research the conditions encompassing the murdering of the policemen.
He said the president was following fair treatment and method and isn’t unconcerned with the terrible episode as being proposed by certain Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army official who gave the order for the slaughtering of three cops and a non military personnel who were shipping a hijack boss, Hamisu Bala Wadume, have been captured.
It was accounted for that the official, a captain, was captured by the military on Sunday, August 11, night after he was welcomed by the board set up to research the episode for questioning.
