Buhari Commissioned Projects In Kano Amid Tight Security

By Jabiru Hassan, Kano.

President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned some projects  both executed by the federal and Kano state government as part of his one day working visit to the state.

Our correspondent who was in the city of Kano in the morning reported that all the routes leading to the commissioning venues were surrounded by the powerful security agents stationed across the state in order to ensure hitch-free state visit.

Furthermore, some residents remained far away from the presidential convoy while others concentrated on their own activities where all the routes followed by the president and his entourage were seriously attended by military men and mobile policemen.

Some of the youths that have an interactive sessions with Daybreak News disclosed that Kano is the hope to Mr. President politically, but his popularity is now gradually fading may be it is due to the president’s policies in governance that are very tough.

Malam Usman Adamu Isa who is also a front line member of All Progressive Congress announced that ”  The presidential visit was done peacefully and the measures taken by the security agencies has been understood because some elements have planned to  disrupts the visit which would not be tolerated”
