Calabar Akin lions club donates 16 bed hospitals

Calabar Akin Lions Club has donated a 16 Bed Cottage Hospital to the Primary Health Care Centre, in Ediba Community in Calabar South.

The Primary Health Care centre which was in terrible dilapidated condition was renovated and Handed-Over to the Government of Cross River State by the District Governor, Lion Elder Nsikan Bassey, For onward delivery to Ediba Community, in Calabar Municipality.

In her remarked at the occasion, the president of Calabar Akins Lions Club, Lion Emmana Asuquo, said the renovated facilities will impact lives and uplifts Health Care delivery to the people in the Community, which is what Lions Club stands for, a selfless service to humanity and the society at Large.

All the funds use for the upgrading and renovation of the facilities came from the Philanthropist.
