Canadian High Commissioner Visits Commissioner Of Health, Seeks Sokoto Government Support

The State Commissioner of Health, Hajiya Asabe Balarabe received the High Commissioner of Canada Mr James Christoff and a delegation from Plan International.

Their significant visit was a step towards achieving their goals. The assurance of full support and cooperation from the state government shows their dedication to working together

Plan International, a leading global organization focused on promoting child rights and improving access to healthcare, is seeking support and cooperation from the sokoto state government and the Ministry of Health for the construction of multiple Primary Health Care centers (PHCs).

Murjanatu Magaji Saidu also in a statement said in addition to the construction of these clinics Plan International is also attending a launch event tomorrow to mark the renovation of primary health care centers across the state. This initiative aims to support the overall healthcare development in Nigeria, with a particular focus on addressing the challenges faced by women, children, and youth.

We are here to not only construct the PHCs but also to join hands with the state government and the Ministry of Health in renovating existing primary health care centers.
