CDCFIB Postpones Opening of Paramilitary Screening Portal

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has postponed the opening of its online portal for shortlisted candidates to undergo physical screening and document verification in the ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise.

The portal had been scheduled to open from Monday, December 1 to Wednesday, December 3.

However, in a statement issued on Monday by its Secretary, Maj.-Gen. (Rtd.) A.M. Jibril, and posted on X, the board announced that the portal would now open “as soon as possible,” without specifying a new date.

Candidates were advised to regularly check the official recruitment website for further updates.

The board apologised for the inconvenience and reaffirmed that further announcements would be made via its official platforms.

The physical screening is a crucial phase of the recruitment, during which shortlisted applicants’ identities, documents, and physical fitness will be verified before the final selection stage.

The exercise covers recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Nigeria Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
