Celebrities and Fans Commemorate Mohbad’s 28th Posthumous Birthday

Nigerian celebrities and fans paid tribute to the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, on what would have been his 28th birthday. Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records, passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023.

Despite the controversies surrounding his death, social media was flooded with posts from celebrities and fans remembering the artist. Notable figures such as Big Brother Naija’s Tasha, Bella Shmurda, and Bad Boy Timz expressed their heartfelt messages and shared memories of the late artist.

The posthumous birthday celebration stirred emotions, with friends and colleagues sharing photos and videos of Mohbad. Fans also joined in, expressing love and admiration for the talented musician.

Mohbad’s passing raised questions, leading to an investigation by the Lagos State Police Command. The autopsy report, conducted in September, is yet to be officially released. The delay has prompted concerns and appeals from the music community, with Bella Shmurda urging the police to expedite the process and release Mohbad’s body for a dignified funeral.

As fans and the music industry continue to remember Mohbad’s contributions, the call for justice and transparency regarding the autopsy results remains. The late artist’s impact on the Nigerian music scene is evident, making his posthumous birthday a poignant moment for those who cherished his talent.
