In response to the deaths of military personnel in Niger State due to an attack by bandits, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has issued orders to all military commanders and troops in the country to avenge the deaths of their colleagues. He made this declaration during the burial ceremony for the fallen personnel.

General Musa strongly affirmed that those responsible for the deaths of the military personnel will be held accountable for their actions. He expressed his deep sympathy for the families of the deceased and assured them that their sacrifices would not be in vain.

He emphasized that the deaths of these soldiers would not go unanswered, and he called upon all commanders and troops throughout Nigeria to take action and avenge the deaths of their fallen comrades. He further stated that both those directly responsible for the attacks and anyone who continues to harm military personnel will face consequences.
