Chinese businessman turns Chief in Nigeria

A pioneer of the Chinese people group in northern Nigeria has been delegated as a chief by the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

The emir holds a great deal of impact and is a religious and social pioneer in the area.

At a conventional service in Kano Mike Zhang took the title of Wakilin Yan China, which means the pioneer of the Chinese inhabitants, as his head was enclosed by a turban.

This service is an acknowledgment of the developing significance of the Chinese people group in Kano, the biggest city in northern Nigeria.

There are a ton of Chinese organizations and dealers in the city who are once in a while blamed for taking other individuals’ employments and participating in unreasonable challenge.

Mr Zhang will be an imperative connection between the Chinese people group and local people.
