Chinese Community In Kano Distributes Food Items To Sheka Masallaci Residents

In continuation of its Corporate Social Responsibilities and humanitarian efforts the Chinese community in Kano under the leadership of Mr. Mark Zang who is the representative of Chinese People in Kano has today Tuesday, 11th May distributed food items Worth’s thousands of Naira to Sheka Masallaci residents.

The food items comprising bags of rice, cartons of indomie noodles, soft drinks, prepared and takes away foods items were distributed at Sheka Masallaci premises under the supervisions of the Chinese representative Mr. Mar Ang, the Chief Imam of Sheka Malam, Musa Liman and other traditional leaders in the area.

In his remark, the leader of the Chinese community in Kano Mr. Mark Zang said that the Chinese community decided to donate the food items to the people especially during this period of Ramadan fasting to assist the less privilege especially in this holy month of Ramadan, adding that ” this would be a continuous project by the Chinese community “.

Mr. Mark Zang disclosed that the cordial relationship between the Chinese community and people of Kano state would continue to grow from strength to strength because there is a mutual understanding between the two sides. He thanked the Shaka Masallaci community for receiving the Chinese community warmly.

Responding, the Sheka Masallaci residents spokesperson who is also the chief Imam of Sheka Mosque , Malam Musa Liman commended the Chinese community in Kano for their efforts in assisting the people, he prayed that the Chinese community would continue to see fortune, and assured that the food items would be distributed accordingly.

Speaking to Daybreak correspondent on the sideline of the occasion a resident of the area Mallam Adamu Sanda thanked the Chinese community for their gesture and commended them for always rendering a helping hand to the community” The Chinese community have always been assisting us we thanked them and hope this will continue we also hope others would learn from them and come to our aid when the need arises, by remembering us the less privilege in this fasting period the Chinese have shown that they are friends of the people of Kano”.

Many of the beneficiaries of the food items spoke highly of the Chinese community in Kano

They described the Chinese community in Kano as friendly and always offering their helping hands especially in areas where they have operations and prayed that the gesture be sustained, “We have people who are in needs of special attention in every settlements and a little help goes a long way” Said a respondant who identified herself as Aisha Shuaibu.

Many of the respondant also commended Mr. Mark and his entourage for the donation and prayed God to reward them for their kind gesture.
