In a landmark event to further bind Africa’s largest economy with the world’s biggest industrial hub, Nigeria’s prime cultural platform the Heritage Africa Village Square shall sign a memorandum of Understanding and collaboration agreement with Representatives of the Hanen Province of China for the promotion of the WLF Championship in West Africa with Headquarters in Nigeria on Saturday , October 26 2019.
The WLF is the regulatory body for the highest level of martial arts combining the original Chinese Kung Fu form with modern technical additions to attract global participants.
The Heritage Africa group shall undertake to institutionalize the sport in Nigeria as a means of constructively engaging the massive youth population thereby creating employment opportunities .
A statement by WLF noted that the agreement will also see the Hanen province facilitating cultural exchange programmes that will see Nigerian visual and performing art forms undertaking tours of China.
The ceremony holds at the Headquarters of Heritage Africa at no 2 Celina Ayom Crescent Jabi Lake Abuja and would also celebrate the 70th Independence Day of China and the 59th Independence Day of Nigeria.
Nigerians will recall that only recently, the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Africa Village Square Mr Moses Ayom was honoured along with other distinguished Nigerians as the Outstanding Advocate of Nigeria/ China Bilateral Relations.
This MOU is designed to further strengthen the bonds of the two world giants who are fast becoming the pillars of the global economy.
The event shall be marked by colorful cultural productions and shall commence by 4pm.
