Christmas: FCT Minister felicitates with residents, enjoins on virtues of peace, love

FCT minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello in a message to felicitate with Christian residents enjoined them to emulate the recurrent messages of Jesus Christ which is virtues of love, unity and peace.

This was contained in the Minister’s Christmas message today to felicitate with Christians in the territory.

He said,” On behalf of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, I warmly felicitate with residents of the FCT. I enjoin all Christians in the Territory to use the occasion to reflect and rededicate themselves to the virtues of love, unity and peace which are the recurrent themes of the message of Jesus Christ.”

The minister who stressed that is the FCT was founded on these same virtues of peace and unity implored them to use the occasion to pray for Nigeria and it’s leaders at all levels for the peace, progress and stability of “our dear country, today, and in the years to come.”

” As we enjoy the festivities I wish to assure all residents of the continuous commitment of the FCT Administration to ensure the wellbeing and welfare of all.”s,q

Bello assured residents of security during the yuletide season and called for their cooperation by assisting the security agencies in the discharge of their responsibilities.

” I urge you to be security conscious and to report all suspicious acts or persons to the security agencies at all times for it is only when we work together that we can overcome our security challenges.”

Meanwhile the minister reminded residents of a fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the the territory and urged them to keep safe by abiding by already established COVID 19 prevention protocols of regular hand washing or sanitizing, facial covering, maintaining physical distancing and vaccination.
