Civil Defence recruitment is free

***Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) cautions forthcoming candidates not to give out cash to anybody with the point of securing employment

***NSCDC asks those with fundamental data concerning suspected fraudsters to report to the closest Corps stations

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) on Sunday, August 25, pronounced that its enlistment exercise is free of any charge from imminent candidates.

The Corps emphasized that its continuous enrollment procedure is totally “free of charge” and executed in a fair and straightforward way.

It cautioned the general population and particularly candidates not to have any money related dealings with anybody as a certification for the enlistment into the administration.

The Corps said it was working to apprehend the culprits of the criminal operations.

Ekunola Gbenga, the Media Assistant to the Commandant-General, reported this in an announcement on Sunday in Abuja.

Ekunola said Information arriving at the NSCDC demonstrated that some corrupt people were coercing cash from clueless candidates/competitors under the bogus impression that they can ensure their possible enrollment into the Service.

He said the progressing Recruitment Exercise is totally complimentary.

“Therefore, no applicant is required to make any payments to any individuals or bank accounts at any time during the recruitment process.” He said.
