Clergyman Charges Journalists On Truth Balance Reporting In Kogi

The General Overseer, Revival House Church, Pastor Halidu Ibrahim on Sunday in Lokoja charged Journalists not to give up in writing  the truth and  wrongs of the society to enhance good governance.

Pastor Halidu gave the charge during the Church service for the Kogi State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) press week prayer service at Revival House Church, Lokoja.

Pastor Halidu, urged Nigerians and Journalists to make lives of thanksgiving a way of life prophecing that a new Nigeria is on the way Inspite the current challenges facing the nation.

The Senior Pastor of the Revival House Church during a sermon at a Church Service to Mark the 2020 Kogi State NUJ Press Week, called on Nigerians to see a new Nigeria coming, despite all the challenges.

The Clergyman who maintained that Journalists are the nation’s conscience, urged Nigerians to live a live of testimony as a way of appreciating God, adding that God is a Miracles worker that comes with testimonies, assuring that things will soon turn around for good for the nation.

Pastor Halidu who explained God Wants his children to always visualize what God can do for them in their lives with dreams maintained that Nigerians would overcome the present challenges facing the nation with thanksgiving and hold on to their dreams  as a new Nigeria is Possible.

The Clergyman admonished Christians and Believers to make profitable friends in their lives and  adviced on the need to sow seeds towards helping others urging Nigerians never to give up in life  Inspite pressures and setback.

In a remarks, Comr Adeiza Momoh Jimoh said the Union has set aside the day to thank God for the past and  Future adding that the church service for members was another way of spiritual rejuvenation for members stressing that the union is positioning its members for better Services.

Highlight of the service was a special Thanksgiving by members of the Kogi State NUJ.
