Cleric canvass for urgent national confab to address S/Kaduna crisis

President and Founder of the Governor’s Assembly in Kafanchan, kaduna State, Pastor Gideon Mutum has stressed the need for an urgent National Confab that would help address the problems of the regions, following the lingering incessant killings in Southern Kaduna and other states.

The Cleric made the suggestion in his reaction over the reoccurring incident of killings rocking Southern Kaduna In an interview with journalists in Kafanchan area of kaduna State.

Mutum reiterated that if there was anything Southern Kaduna need to address the lingering issues that has bedevilled the region is to organise a National Confab that would help expose some certain issues and to proffer a lasting solutions.

According to him a delegation of all the tribes in Southern Kaduna need to be part of the National confab, adding the Hausa Fulani delegation need to be involve.

He explained that having the delegation of the Hausa Fulani in the National confab would help address some certain narratives that are peddling within their quarters.

” Let us not fall our alms and pretend as if there are no problems, looking at the recent revelations of some issues that are arising from different quarters, adding, “to the best of my knowledge the national conference would cushion the lingering issues.

While commenting on the existence of Hausa Fulani in the Southern Kaduna, Mutum said the Fulani settlements in the region are still standing untouchable.

” For someone to say that the Southern Kaduna People don’t want anybody to stay within our boundaries, it’s a blatant lies,” The President said.

Mutum disclosed that there is no Chiefdom in Southern Kaduna that does not have a Hausa Fulani person that’s ruling only but a few.” He maintained.
