CMD-DASH charge staff to be deligent to work

The Chief Medical Director, Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Dr Hassan Ikrama Lafia has charged members of staff to be dedicated to work for the overall development of the Hospital.

Dr. Ikrama stated this at the award ceremony of staff of the hospital, in Lafia the state capital.

He said the award ceremony was instituted two years ago and suppose to be an annual event, but covid-19 pandemic distablised the event.

The essence of the ceremony is to improve on the service delivery of the hospital and to encourage both the awardees and those not awarded to continue to work hard for DASH to move to places.

“Since the pandemic is now low, we dicided to bring back the award ceremony inorder to appreciate our deligent, hardworking and dedicated staff that work tirelessly in the covid-19 era and order related diseases”

“It was a tried moment for all the health workers across the globe, yet the put in their best to make sure all patient are treated well”

” Nasarawa state health workers were commended by NCDC for their deligent and hard work in tackling the pandemic in the state”, he said

Dr Ikrama added that due to all their hard work, Health workers in Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital need the award ceremony inorder to appreciate their efforts.

Speaking, the state Head of Service, Mr. Aboki commended the efforts of the health workers and the two traditional rulers for their efforts despite the tide schedule still find time to do their professional work.

Also speaking, the state commissioner of Health, Pharm. Ahmed Baba said the government would continue to support the health workers in the state.

The chairman of the award ceremony committee, Mr. Emile A Emile said the awards is in different segment and category, among which are punctuality to work, neatness, ability to work under pressure, others are dedication to work, team player, and attitude to work.

He futher said that, the awards is given to deligent workers and encourage those that are not beneficial to put in their best inorder to benefit from the next awards to come.

Speaking behalf of the recipients, Dr. Esther Namo, expressed appreciation and promise to put in more efforts on the various task given to them, as the awards has given them the room to put in their best.
