Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, has introduced a comprehensive 31-page roadmap titled “Accelerating our collective prosperity through technical efficiency.” This blueprint charts the course for his ministry and sets the stage for Nigeria’s prosperous digital future.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Minister Tijani disclosed that the strategic plan was developed through extensive consultations with stakeholders from various ministry departments, units, parastatals, and key players in the ecosystem. The blueprint aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s vision for a revitalized Nigeria.
This document underscores the significance of digital technology and innovation as powerful drivers of progress. Beyond just information, its goal is to reimagine and establish new approaches that promote openness and accountability, aiming to foster equity.
