COVID 19: Ilorin general hospital gets Acting CMD

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the appointment of Dr. Ahmed Abdulkadir as the Acting Chief Medical Director for the General Hospital, Ilorin.

This is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mamman Jubril on Wednesday in Ilorin.

According to Jubril, the appointment by the state civil service commission is with immediate effect.

The SSG said that the appointment was to ensure that there no vacuum existed in the operations of the hospital.

He explained that the appointment became necessary in view of the prevalence of the coronavirus pandemic.
