“Cross River Live,” an online news platform, has launched interactive sessions with candidates running for various positions in the upcoming local government elections.

This was revealed in a statement issued to our correspondent by the publisher, Mr. Marcel Edem. He emphasized that Cross River Live remains committed to contributing to democratic development across the state with positive outcomes.

He added that the newly introduced interactive sessions will provide candidates an opportunity to present their policies and governance plans to the public, should they receive the mandate from voters. The platform aims to encourage transparency and accountability in an open-door style.

Mr. Edem assured that their platform is fully prepared to offer more programs beneficial to both candidates, voters, and political parties, ensuring everyone is well-informed before the elections. The initiative will begin with candidates running for office in Akamkpa Local Government Council.

In conclusion, Mr. Edem reaffirmed Cross River Live’s commitment to advancing democracy in Cross River State and Nigeria. He also invited all candidates to participate in the new initiative, ensuring a fair and informed electoral process.
