Davido and other top Nigerian artist call for the release of Omah Lay & Tems

Prominent Nigerian music acts, Wizkid, Davido and Burna boy has collectively called on the Ugandan government to release their colleagues, Omah Lay and Tems who was detained for violating Covid 19 protocols on Sunday 13th December 2020.

We earlier reported that the Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and charged with doing “acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease, Covid-19” following the illegal concert at Ddungu resort in Munyonyo with large crowds while the country is on lockdown.

According to a popular Ugandan lawyer, Both singers would be staying at Kitalya prison until their hearing on Wednesday.

Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy took to their individual social media handles to call for immediate release of both Tems and Omah Lay.
