Davido, the latest groom in town, assured his wife chioma’s parents that she will always be protected, respected, and connected during their traditional wedding in lagos state on june 25, 2024.
A heartwarming instagram video captured davido prostrating in front of chioma’s parents. The event compere prompted him to beg for their daughter’s hand in marriage, following tradition. She said, “Tell us how you are going to take care of her for record purposes; you know you have sung about it and talked about it.”
Lying on the ground, davido declared his intentions, saying, “I have only two words, lifetime assurance.” the crowd erupted in cheers as he added, “I promise you that your daughter will be protected, respected, and connected. Mummy, daddy, I love you. Everybody knows that I’m happy for this day, and this is the happiest day of my life.”
The crowd cheered even louder as davido stood up.
The lavish wedding ceremony has become one of the most talked-about events of the year, attracting celebrities, dignitaries, and political figures, including former president of nigeria, olusegun obasanjo.
