Dawakin Tofa Council Chairman Hails Kano Gubernatorial Election Tribunal For Fair Judgement

By Jabiru Hassan, Kano.

” The Kano state governorship election tribunal’s verdict on 18th March gubernatorial polls has proven that Nigeria’s judiciary remained the best place to get justice after the electoral process that is contrary to what is expected at all levels”

This was stated by the executive chairman of Dawakin Tofa local government council, Honourable Ado Tambai Kwa in a chat with our correspondent shortly after the court ruling in kano, adding that judiciary would continue to protect and promote democratic system without bias.

Honourable Ado Tambai Kwa announced that as kano retained it’s status quo as the Nigeria’s political base for decades, what the tribunal has done indicated that Nigeria’s democracy would survive and become an avenue that promotes national growth under viable electoral practice.

He congratulates the APC National chairman, state party executives, other stakeholders, the winner of the march 18th gubernatorial election Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and his deputy, Murtala Sule Garo for the recent court declaration, where he assured that kano politics would continue to change towards the people’s redemption with optimum result.

“We are holding another special prayers tomorrow Friday to thank God the Almighty for the success we recorded in tribunal and to pray for national unity, peace and economic progress with all our teaming clerics, business class, politicians and party supporters”. He concluded.
