As the November 11th elections draw near, Dino Melaye, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, has urged his supporters to cast their votes for him without any apprehension in the upcoming state elections.

Naija News reports that Melaye, the flag bearer for PDP in Kogi, has pledged to secure victory in the election by steadfastly rejecting alleged fears and intimidation purportedly orchestrated by Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration.

Speaking passionately in Egume, Dekina local government, during a meeting with leaders of the PDP in the Kogi East senatorial district on Wednesday, Melaye declared, “We will emerge victorious in this election by conquering the fears and intimidation fostered by Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration.”

During this gathering, Melaye was warmly welcomed by prominent figures from Kogi East, including former Minister of Police Affairs, Barrister Humphrey Abba, former Kogi PDP Chairman, John Odawn, and former commissioner, Mrs. Ruth Eke Iyaji.

The Kogi PDP Governorship Campaign Organization reported that Melaye emphasized the undeniable credibility he brings to the November polls, which he believes is exceptional.

Melaye’s campaign is centered on the idea of collaborating with the people of Kogi to liberate the state from the shackles of underdevelopment. He has also made a solemn commitment to serve as a leader dedicated to promoting good governance, urging Kogites to fearlessly cast their votes for the PDP in the November 11, 2023 Gubernatorial election to usher in the desired change.
