By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has sent warmest congratulations to President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians for its track of achieving 26 years of steady democracy.
This was contained in a press release signed by Celestine Toruka, NCPC
Deputy Director and Head
Media and Public Relations.

He also lauded Nigeria’s steady and workable democracy since 1999 as a feat worth celebrating.

Bishop Adegbite urged President Tinubu to continue ensuring Nigerians reap the dividends of democracy through his Renewed Hope Agenda.
Likewise, he admonished Nigerians to have faith in God and the present administration for guidance and direction.

He further enjoined spiritual leaders to uphold the President, his team, and Nigeria in prayer for economic growth. Additionally, he urged security agencies to build a strong synergy to fight terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping in the country.

The NCPC further expressed optimism that despite the challenges, Nigeria will soon overcome them, adding that faith and prayer is key to guiding the nation.
