DJ Kaywise Refutes Suicidal Rumors Following Mohbad’s Tragic Passing

By  Milcah  Tanimu

Renowned Nigerian disc jockey, Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, professionally known as DJ Kaywise, has firmly denied any intentions of taking his own life amidst recent speculations.

On Wednesday, DJ Kaywise posted a cryptic message on his Instagram account, causing concerns and conjecture among his followers. This message hinted at a possible tragic outcome, which led to a wave of reactions and worry among netizens.

It’s important to note that this declaration came just a day after the untimely passing of popular Nigerian singer, Mohbad, whose cause of death remains undisclosed.

In his initial post, DJ Kaywise wrote, “I’ll end it all by 9 pm tonight, I did my best.”

However, shortly after sharing this alarming message, the DJ clarified his intentions, assuring everyone that he had no plans to harm himself. He took the time to express his gratitude to those who showed him support and care, interpreting his cryptic statement as a cry for help.

In a follow-up statement aimed at dispelling the rumors and misconceptions, DJ Kaywise stated, “I hope this clears everything up. The misunderstanding of my recent post as a sign of suicidal thoughts underscores the importance of addressing such sensitive issues.”

He went on to emphasize the necessity of dissociating his name from these false impressions, which were initially propagated by a questionable blog called Gistlover. DJ Kaywise expressed relief at being able to correct these misconceptions that have circulated over the past year.
