Former U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering granting a presidential pardon to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently entangled in a high-profile federal case.
Combs was recently convicted on two counts related to the transportation of individuals for the purpose of prostitution and could face up to 14 years in prison. However, he was acquitted of more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Speaking on the matter, Trump said he would “certainly look at the facts” of the case and consider a pardon if he believes Combs was treated unfairly. He also emphasized that any decision would be based on justice, not personal ties or public opinion.
Diddy’s sentencing is scheduled for October 3, 2025, in New York. His legal team has proposed a $50 million bail package — a request that prosecutors are strongly opposing.
