Traditional institutions plays an important role in the promotion of peace and unity in their domains, adding that their services always becoming vital especially at present when their existence is becoming dependable.
This was disclosed by the People’s Democratic Party Candidate for Dambatta/Makoda federal constituency, Dr. Saleh Musa Wailare in his message to the newly turbaned Sarkin Bai of Kano, who was also the former minister of finance, Dr. Mansur Muktar.
Dr. Wailare described the Ninth Sarkin Bai as one of the great pillars of Dambatta/Makoda who always contributes his own quota in promoting peace and loving one another across the area and Kano state at large, where he opined that the new Sarkin Bai would double his efforts to ensure that his domain maintain its standard.
In conclusion, Dr. Saleh Musa Wailare assured that ” the new Sarkin Bai Of Kano being a former minister of finance and current Vice Chairman of the Islamic development Bank is a person who is also an economist that will use his long-term experience in boosting economic progress of his district and the nation at large as one of Nigeria’s professionals in economic planning and implementation.
