Drama as Ondo Returning Officer battles with figure

The returning Officer for the Ondo state Presidential and National Assembly election, Prof. Kayode Shoremekun, created a mild drama at the venue of the Presidential election collation centre, when the figures he was calling did not tally with figures displayed on the screen.

Several attempts to make him reconciled his figures proved abortive.

INEC’s Chairman and the Chief Returning Officer, asked the Returning Officer whether he needed ruler or more illumination, which he said a ruler will do.

It was drama again upon been given a ruler, when he was still calling conflicting figures, he was then asked to leave his presentation and should go and reconcile his figures.
