Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has extended Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims across the state, calling for unity, tolerance, and prayers for national peace and stability. In a message issued on Friday, the governor described the end of Ramadan as a period for reflection on values such as self-discipline, compassion, and faith, which he said are essential for building a peaceful and prosperous society.
Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving citizens’ welfare, enhancing security, and delivering development across key sectors. He also thanked residents for their continued support and expressed confidence in sustained progress. The governor urged citizens to use the festive period to promote peaceful coexistence, regardless of religious or political differences.
He further called on Nigerians to pray for the country’s unity and stability, and to support ongoing national efforts aimed at addressing current challenges. Ododo wished Muslims a peaceful and joyful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
