The bail application of Shiekh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, leader of the proscribed Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, and his wife has again been postponed till next week Monday.
Shiekh El-Zakzaky health condition has reportedly grown worse, and was therefore absent during the sitting at Kaduna high Court Monday.
His Counsel Femi Falana, SAN, has revealed revealed his health condition.
But Falana’s allegation was faulted by Counsels to the Government who said that El-Zakzaky’s health condition is okay, adding that specialists Doctors from Barau Dikko specialists hospitals, Kaduna and Lagos examined him and agreed that his health situation could be handled locally in Nigeria.
Falana however faulted and disclaimed government Counsel position, saying, they earlier applied to court not to be brought to court because the Sheikh health condition “is so bad that to climb-up and down the car or staircase is extremely difficult for him now.
As a result of the court sitting, business and government official activities were seriously affected in Kaduna metropolis spanning between 7am and 12:30pm, as security deployed to maintain peace denied people free movement in many areas.
