Emma Nyra apologizes for defending Hushpuppi, says justice will be served

After much blasting from angry Nigerians,
Singer, Emma Chukwugoziam Obi, better known as Emma Nyra has apologized for defending suspected fraudster, Hushpuppi.

The mother of twins had earlier slammed Nigerians who rejoiced over his arrest.

Emma Nyra had taken to Twitter to air her view over the arrest of Hushpuppi saying;

“A lot of people are happy about what happened to Hushpuppi because he was oppressing them on social media. The truth is that rejoicing in his downfall is not gonna put money in your pocket. I’m tired of reading about someone else’s downfall. Let me jeje hustle my own oh”

In a swift reaction after the backfire, she retracted her words by writing, ” I genuinely apologize if I offended anyone. I never meant to do that. I simply meant that I’m tired of reading about it. Justice will be served when it comes to his case and understand that I would never defend his actions at all. I actually never did. My dear I’m just tired o. I never defended hushpuppi. His actions have consequences and I agree with that.”

Recall that her opinion did not sit well with many Nigerians on Twitter, who went on to heavily criticize the artiste for ‘supporting’ the suspected fraudsters.
