Ewa’s Thoughts in Words

The Night

The night is where I find my peace… Where everything is serene and the quiet so profound.

The night is where I find my peace… Where darkness slows the pace of a racing heart and the eyes are shut to the gates of the soul. For once, it’s like everything is harmless and peaceful.

The night is where I find my peace… It’s the only place where the day gets so calm as though it has no troubles of its own. The journey to daybreak a distance within flights unknown.

The night is where I find my peace… It’s a time many dreams go to sleep and newer dreams are born. The spirit opens to reason and the mind to imaginations.

The night is where I find my peace… A time to be quiet and just listen to silence. Stare straight into the dark and experience the act of blindness in the real state of its form.

The night is where I find my peace… Where tears are true and regrets are sincere… Where resilience is reborn and promises revisited.

The night is where I find my peace… The only time you don’t have to be afraid of what you really are… Everyone looks the same lying in state oblivious of their poise or postures.

The night is indeed where the truth lies…The lips unburden in silence. For peace has found it’s path only in that dark called night!
