Expose Killers of Military Officers, Gov Ortom told Security Agents

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has implored the Military to collaborate with other security agents to apprehend those responsible for the murder of Military Officers to bring them to justice.
The Governor who made this call on Monday at the burial of Soldiers who lost their lives during Military operation in Shangev, Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State last week.
The ceremony took place at the Military Cemetery Wurukum Makurdi amidst wailing from bereaved family members, sympathizers and well wishers.
Ortom extended condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari over the demise of the soldiers, describing the incident as unfortunate. The Governor also sympathized with the families of the deceased. He promised to reach out to the bereaved family members to ameliorate their sufferings.
It could be recalled that no fewer than eleven Soldiers were allegedly killed by gunmen on their way to restore peace between the people of Konshisha and Oju Local Government Areas of Benue State who have been fighting each other over land issues. Ends
