The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, on receiving the prestigious “Governor of the Year 2024 Education Award” by Leadership Newspaper.
In a statement released on Tuesday by Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, the spokesperson for the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Falgore emphasized that this award perfectly symbolizes the Governor’s hard work and dedication to the success of the educational sector in Kano State.
“No one deserves this award more than His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf. Your commitment to excellence is an inspiration to all of us,” Falgore remarked.
Furthermore, Falgore stated that the award is a well-deserved testament to His Excellency’s unwavering commitment, visionary leadership, and transformative impact on the educational landscape of Kano State.
"Under his stewardship, we have witnessed remarkable progress in broadening access to quality education for all citizens of Kano, irrespective of their background or location," Falgore added. The Speaker also pledged the continued commitment of the Kano State House of Assembly to working with the Kano State Government to sustain progress in human capital development, education, and other sectors in the state.
“I, Rt. Hon. Speaker, on behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, pray to Almighty Allah to continue to bless and protect you with good health, wisdom, and strength to lead the state to greater heights,” Falgore concluded.
