The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore has extended greetings to the Christian faithful on the occasion of the Christmas festivities.
According to the press statement signed and issued by spokesperson Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, Falgore is congratulating all Christian faithful as a sign of the bond between the people of Kano and others across the board.
Falgore said, “Christmas is a season of love and tolerance.”. I charge all Christian partners to love one another, tolerate one another, not ignore the poor, and remain grateful to God.
Let’s make this Christmas great and memorable for everyone around us, despite the current economic hardship the country is facing.
The speaker further urged the Christian faithful to be law-abiding while carrying out the festivities and to join hands with the government’s efforts towards enhancing peace and stability in Kano.
He reiterated the Kano Assembly’s commitment to supporting the Kano State Government under the leadership of Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration has been committed to providing a conducive environment for everyone, irrespective of religion, tribe, or status.
