The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has congratulated Premier Radio on its 4th anniversary, commending the station for its teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to quality broadcasting.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Speaker’s spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai. Falgore described the milestone as a reflection of the station’s steady growth and dedication to responsible journalism since its establishment.

According to the Speaker, Premier Radio has distinguished itself as a dedicated broadcast station whose vision and commitment to national and international broadcasting go beyond mere rhetoric. He noted that the station’s progress over the past four years was both inspiring and commendable.

“Looking back at where you started and seeing where you are today is inspiring. Congratulations to the entire team for such tremendous achievements,” Falgore said.

He stated that the 4th anniversary of Premier Radio underscored the importance of teamwork, adding that the station’s success was a clear testament to hard work, unity of purpose, and collective responsibility among its management and staff.

Falgore further applauded the station’s dedication to delivering first-hand news and up-to-date information on current events. He noted that Premier Radio’s efforts in providing educational and informative programmes to the people of Kano State and beyond had not gone unnoticed.

According to him, the station has continued to play a vital role in informing, educating, and enlightening the public, thereby contributing positively to societal development and public awareness.

“As you celebrate your 4th anniversary, on behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, we pray that Premier Radio will continue to be a news-oriented station focused on professionalism, ethics, and objectivity in reporting,” the Speaker said.

He also offered prayers for the continued strength and capacity of the station to serve the people with accurate, timely, and qualitative information. Falgore stressed the importance of credible media organisations in strengthening democracy and promoting informed citizenship.

The Speaker further noted that the Kano State House of Assembly remained committed to collaborating with Premier Radio in shaping public understanding of legislative responsibilities as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He said such collaboration was essential in ensuring that citizens were well-informed about legislative processes, policies, and decisions that affected governance and development in the state.

Falgore concluded by congratulating the management, journalists, and entire workforce of Premier Radio on the 4th anniversary, encouraging them to sustain their standards and continue to uphold the principles of responsible broadcasting.

Premier Radio, since its establishment, has grown into a notable media platform in Kano State, offering news, public affairs, and educational programmes aimed at informing and empowering its audience.
