Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State said Farin Ruwa water falls would create job opportunities for the teeming youths and boost economy of state when fully developed.
Gov Sule who was represented by his deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, said there were potentials at the Water falls that needed to be harnessed, hence requiring partnership to make it a tourist Haven in Nigeria.
“This is unique, and is also quite intriguing, as a state and as a country we know that a lot of potentials are here that needed to be harnessed, we strongly believe as people if we put our hands and resources together we can achieve it.
“And together with the Government of Nasarawa State and the Federal Government, we believe that we can make the best of this falls, because there is a lot to drive here, in terms of economy, getting youths engage and relaxation,” he said.
Sule who described Farin Ruwa water falls as unique said the state is expected to build tourists village as well as Film village and also ensure completion of the road that led to the water falls.
The governor, while commending the Minister of Information and Culture for the visit, said was hopeful and strongly believe that the the visit would yield fruitful result.
“Having known the kind of person the honourable Minister is, his disposition, antecedent and acumen, we believe strongly that having come here to see for himself I’m sure he will take it up from here,” the Gov. said.
