“Fatal Road Accident Claims Two Lives Near Ikire, Osun State”

Tragedy struck near Ikire, Osun State, as a lone accident resulted in the loss of two lives on Friday. The incident occurred at Balogun Village, with reports indicating that the bus involved was en route from Ekiti State to Lagos.

Both passengers tragically lost their lives on the spot. Prompt response from operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and Federal Road Safety Corps followed the crash.

Kehinde Adeleke, the spokesperson for the NSCDC in Osun State, confirmed the unfortunate accident.

She further mentioned that the injured individuals from the accident were promptly transported to a private hospital in Apomu for medical attention.

Additionally, Adeleke highlighted that Michael Adaralewa, the Commandant of Osun NSCDC, urged all road users, particularly motorists, to consistently adhere to traffic laws and regulations to prevent further loss of lives and property.
