By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, FMOHSW, has lamented the ongoing strike action by members of NARD and has promised to resolve unmet issues to end strike and get doctors back to work within the shortest possible time.

In a press release signed by the Alaba Balogun Director, Head Media, Public Relations of the health ministry, said, ” However, despite the strike and in line with commitment to ensure continuity of care, services are still being provided in our hospitals.”
It would be recalled that NARD had declared an indefinite nationwide strike, effective from Saturday, 1 November, following what it described as the federal government’s refusal to resolve overdue long standing issues.
