FG Plans $100 Billion Boost for Nigeria’s Creative Economy

 

The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a bold plan to generate $100 billion annually and create over two million jobs from the country’s creative economy.

On Wednesday, Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, presented the government’s strategic plan at a roundtable with local and international investors. Current State of the Industry

Despite its potential, Nigeria’s creative industry currently contributes only $5 billion to the economy. Strategic Initiatives for Growth

Technology Initiatives:
– Launching a digital content creation tool accessibility program.
– Expanding internet accessibility in underserved regions.

Infrastructure and Funding:- Cataloguing and developing necessary infrastructure.
