Governor Ahmad Umaru Fintiri made the commendation when his Sokoto state counterpart Aminu Waziri Tambuwal took him round the construction site of Sokoto State University Teaching Hospital project.
Fintiri who was taken round the University of saw installations in some blocks commended the quality structures as well as the installations and roads network.
While going round the Institution, Tambuwal told Fintiri that medical doctors, nurses and attendants from across the country would be employed irrespective of religion and tribe adding that a good number of youths would gain employment soon as the hospital commence operations.
He said he had not seen why qualified workers would not work anywhere in the country.
“Health of Sokoto people is one of my leadership priorities alongside Education and Agriculture”.
The contract awarded in 2020 would be handed over to the state government soon.
Governor Tambuwal was accompanied by some members of the State Executive Council including the Secretary to the State Government, Commissioner for Health, Commissioner for Land and Housing and also the State Commissioner for Information respectively.
