The Kaduna residence of Sheikh Ahmad Gumi was gutted by fire on Saturday.
Efforts were on to put off the fire, even though no life was lost in the inferno.
Journalists could not get details as everyone seemed to be concerned about putting off the fire first and avoiding casualty from the inferno.
