First Session Of Sokoto Assembly Holds Tomorrow

The first session of the 10th Assembly Sokoto State House of Assembly will hold tomorrow, the 13th of June, 2023 at 10am in the Sokoto State House of Assembly complex, (Kaduna road) Sokoto.

This event marks a new chapter in the legislative history of Sokoto State and demonstrates the commitment of the government to uphold democratic principles and ensure good governance under the able leadership of His Excellency Ahmed Aliyu PhD.

The first session will witness the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected members, and then the election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

The first session of the 10th Assembly is an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together and work towards a brighter future for the people of Sokoto State.

APC stalwarts, lovers of democracy, and the well wishers of the elected honorable members traditionally are expected to witness the event.
