The Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, a key component of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda, is geared towards bolstering Nigeria’s technical talent pool to drive the digital economy and establish Nigeria as a net exporter of talent. This program aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s vision of generating two million digital jobs by 2025.
The first phase of the 3MTT program, executed in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), involves various stakeholders, including program fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations.
Here are the five steps to apply for the 3MTT programme:
1. Visit www.https://3mtt.nitda.gov.ng and provide your National Identification Number (NIN), email address, and phone number.
2. Complete the application form.
3. Specify your employment status and background skills.
4. Choose a training program from the various options available, such as Quality Assurance, Product Management, Data Science, Animation, AI/Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Game Development, and more.
5. Submit the application form and await further instructions via email.
Please note that there is no application fee for either the training providers or the program fellows. Even organizations without a physical facility can apply to become training providers, provided they have access to the necessary physical resources when required.
