The video in question featured individuals dressed in white garments, engaging in prayers similar to the Muslim way before transitioning into dancing. Ahmad expressed his disapproval, stating that the video’s content was offensive to many Muslims.
According to Ahmad, Muslims do not mix their religion with humor or entertainment, especially when it comes to Salah (prayer), which holds sacred significance as one of the five pillars of Islam. He explained that during Salah, Muslims remember and show reverence to Allah, expressing love, respect, and gratitude towards Him. The purpose is to establish a direct connection with God, and this is a deeply held belief and faith among Muslims.
Ahmad emphasized that no Muslim would see such content as an honor or find it acceptable, and he urged Davido to respect the religious sensitivities and beliefs of the Muslim community.
It is important to note that religious sensitivity is a crucial aspect of social harmony and should be approached with respect and understanding.
