However, she clarified that her priority had been saving for a significant goal – building a home for her family. She explained that her family hadn’t been able to travel for Christmas due to a lack of proper housing, and her parents faced health issues because of the inadequate living conditions.
Chizzy further shared that her father had contemplated selling part of their property to address the urgent repairs needed for their home, but she intervened, promising to build a house for them. Instead of using her savings to buy a new car, she chose to prioritize their shelter needs. Today, she expresses her gratitude to God for fulfilling her promise to her parents, with a new four-bedroom house, additional bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and a living room. This heartwarming story showcases her commitment to her family’s well-being.
